WHAT IS BOTOX®?

Thanks to BOTOX®, Revive Aesthetics and Wellness Center has the ability to temporarily minimize the appearance of moderate to severe Crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead creases. BOTOX® injections use a filtered strain of botulinum toxin type A and work to temporarily relax the facial muscles that enable those contractions, allowing the overlying skin to soften over time. HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?
Since BOTOX® is generally a fast, in-office procedure, your injections can conveniently be administered during the same visit as your initial consultation. The prescription medicine will be injected into the specified areas of your face using a fine-gauge needle. BOTOX® takes approximately ten minutes to complete, and most people notice only mild discomfort, such as a pinprick feeling. At the end of your session, there is no downtime so you can go about your day. You may notice minor swelling, redness, and bruising, but this should not last long. BOTOX® can deliver up to four months of youthful, natural-looking enhancements for the majority of patients.

WHAT IS XEOMIN®?
Xeomin® is an FDA-approved, highly-purified neurotoxin prescription injection that is primarily used to treat moderate to severe frown lines. An alternative to Botox® and Dysport®, Xeomin® is injected into your face muscles to soften frown lines and improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between your eyebrows, also known as glabellar lines.
HOW LONG DOES XEOMIN® LAST?
The cosmetic effects of Xeomin® last for a short period of time and block the release of the chemicals that cause your muscles to contract, which over time, result in frown lines. Xeomin® lasts anywhere from three to four months and can take anywhere from 24 hours to ten das to take effect. The lifespan and effectiveness of Xeomin® primarily depends on your physiological makeup, which is why we recommend consulting with your provider at Revive Aesthetics and Wellness Center before beginning treatment. Common Side effect of Xeomin® include headaches, blurred vision, and injection site pain.
